Services vary by program and provider. Confirm exactly what is included, who performs the visits, how workers are screened, and what happens when the older adult does not answer.

Florida service limits
A Florida homemaker or companion registration alone does not authorize hands-on personal care. Ask whether a provider is registered or licensed for every service your family needs, and verify current information through Florida AHCA.
